Mentoring. It's Big... PDF Print E-mail

We provide young people, in need of additional support with a caring mentor and positive role model that can help expand their horizons, realize their potential and enrich their futures – changing their lives.

It works – kids with a Big Brother or a Big Sister excel in their personal and academic lives.

Fundraising for BBBSO has its rewards!

All Team Leaders will be entered into a draw to win 1 of 3 Senators caps (signed by Alfredsson, Fisher or Phillips).

Raise $500+ and be entered in a draw to win a composite hockey stick signed by all the Sens.

Raise $1,400+ to be entered into a draw for 2 tickets anywhere Westjet flies!

*The campaign has been extended until September 17, 2010!*

“Having a mentor is an important factor in everyone's life, it does make a difference. I am fortunate to have been matched with my big brother "Marc" for 7 years now. On behalf of all Little brothers and sisters in the Ottawa region, thank you to all mentors for the key role they play in teaching us to become responsible adults."

Alexandre Malboeuf

“Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa provides children with mentors, but more importantly, their programs provide children with friends that they can count on to be a positive influence, this is extremely important in the shaping of our youth.”

“Although not everyone can be a Big Brother or Big Sister, everyone can help a child through Buddy Up!”
