The time is now . . . to help us not only decrease our wait list of 160 kids, but also to continue to provide services to the 1,060 children and their families that we currently serve.

The 10 "Featured Littles" that you see above are the face of the Buddy Up Campaign and have agreed to represent all the "Littles' who are benefiting from or waiting to benefit from Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa's valuable programs.

The truth is that in these difficult times, we are struggling to maintain our services and with the end of the year in sight, we need your help to ensure that we reach our goal of $45,000 for this campaign.

Please don't delay, DONATE NOW.  Every dollar will go towards improving the life of a child right here in our community.  For each donation, you can choose to "Buddy Up" with one of our Featured Littles and receive two updates a year on that particular child.

I was raised by a single mother, and while I spent time with my grandfather and uncles, none of them were really focused on me. Having a Big Brother changed all that. For the first time I had a male role model in my life who was keenly interested in what I was about and what I wanted to do. Having never had a father, I didn’t know what I was missing. But Dave, my Big Brother, helped me with my self-confidence, self-esteem and, to some extent, taught me how to be a man. Now, as a father myself, I hope to be the same kind of role model to my kids.
